Uptown Girls

Hi everyone.
I hope you are having a relaxing Sunday with friends and loved ones.

Today I'm sharing with you a card I made for a dear friends birthday. I will say I am in love with the stamping Balla Upton Girls range.

The girls were quite challenging to colour using Copic Markers, their legs are so skinny!
My background is embossed stamped circle dots and watercolour paint.

My card was made using the following supplies:

Stamps: Stamping Bella Samantha and Sierra take a selfie
Indigo Blue Circle dot Background

Dies: Lawn Fawn Large stitched rectangle frames
Spellbinders Oval stack

Thanks for having a look. Drop into Bizzy Becs online store and have a look at the
gorgeous stamping Bella range.

See you Next time

Art journal page

Hi there

I love drawing faces and am sharing one of my latest in my  art journal.
I have used many layers to create this piece, the face is layers of watercolour and coloured pencil as well as a bit of ink and permanent pen.

To achieve the texture down the side of the pages I have stamped into texture paste, after drying I have painted the background with a transparent wash of acrylic paint.

I have then made a raw umber paint glaze to bring out the detail in the texture then I have dry brushed gesso over the top of all the layers which has added a really effective hi-lite.

The stamped quote just seemed to fit in with the layout and is a darkroom door stamp.

I hope you like the end result.

Thanks for stopping by
