Daisy Squidgy Hello Fabulous card

Hi There

Thanks for joining me for my turn on the blog today For Bizzy Becs DT

The card I would like to share with you is made using Stampingbella's Daisy Squidgy stamp.

I have coloured my stamped image with Copic markers on blending card and then used the un-stitched edge of the hillside borders Die to cut wavy lines.

The background is created with Ranger distress oxides in Shabby Shutters and Bundled Sage using a brayer to lay down the colour.

After die cutting the sentiments out several times I have layered them together and glues them down to create more dimension to my sentiments and help them stand out.

I have also added a bit of clear 'Wink of Stella' to my words and also to the daisy's centre and a few clear crystals for sparkle.

Blooming Flowers Stained glass window cards

Hi there,

Today I'm sharing a set of cards for Paper Rose Studio.

These cards are made by stacking die-cuts together and filling the spaces created with Dimensional Magic or Glossy Accents to create a stained glass window effect.

To make it easier to stick down several layers of the die cuts I have used a double sided adhesive sheet on my card before running it through my big shot. Just keep running it through several times until everything cuts out.

After attaching the first die cut layer to the base card, i coloured all my flowers in with Comic Markers. Then attach another three or four more layers. you will need to burnish or press down each layer to make sure they are really well stuck together. Now fill all the spaces created with Glossy Accents and allow to dry flat overnight.

Before attaching the last layer of the die, heat emboss silver (or any colour) embossing powder to create a lead like effect.

Hi Again.

Todays cards are for Paper Rose featuring the sweet Bird Day stamp set.

the three card feature different backgrounds including watercolored circles and embossed textured backgrounds.

The Birds are all coloured with Copic markers and are the star of the cards.

For this card I have used an embossing folder to add texture to the background.

sparkle Birthday card

Hi There,

Today for Bizzy Becs I have used one of the New Jane Davenport Spellbinders Dies to
create a Birthday card.

The original idea for this card came from Jennifer Maguire's YouTube channel. She made a serious of beautiful cards using this Faux Stained Glass technique.

I have watercolored a few shades of blue onto Ranger watercolour paper and left it to dry
naturally.

To achieve depth and to give me a place to add the Glossy accents I have cut out and layered together
five layers of the Spellbinders feather die.

When sticking the layers of die cuts together glue the first layer onto the stamped and heat embossed  card base. you can see all the layers in the picture above

Add each additional layer onto the previous layer but save the last one for after filling with glossy accents. This way if you spill over the edges or aren't too neat applying the glossy accents to some of the smaller areas you still have one remaining layer to tidy things up.

For extra Dimension and sparkle I have added some white paint pen dots and glued on some pearls and crystals.

I hope you like this card, it was a bit of work but really fun to make.

Don't forget to have a look at the Store where there are some great new listings to pre-order. Also there is 25% off storewide so great savings too!
I hope this inspires you to join us for our monthly anything goes challenge.

Supplies Used:

Jane Davenport Spellbinders: Fair Feathers Die
Penny Black: Sprinkles and Smiles Sentiment stamp

Until next time.
