Waffle Flower Hello Card

Hi Everyone

Today is my turn to share a card for Bizzy Becs and I have made a simple and bright Hello card suitable for a male or female recipient!

I have used several Ranger Alcohol inks blended onto Yupo to create my background, blending the colours together with alcohol and Ranger Blending solution. I also added little contrast with some metallic alloy alcohol ink.

I have stamped the Waffle Flower oversized hello in versa mark ink and embossed it with a sparkly blur embossing powder.

I have then used the corresponding die to cut it out and layered it onto a second hello die cut out of plain white card.

As my colours ended up so bright I decided to feature the background and only added a large die cut

word and a sentiment to complete the card.

Vintage Damask Thank you card

Hi There

Thanks for stopping by. I have a new DT card to share today for Paper Rose Studio.

During lockdown I, like everyone else!, turned to YouTube and Facebook for ideas and entertainment.

I rediscovered my love of the Ranger product line by watching the Tim Holtz live videos.

My Card today revisits the grungy and vintage look achieved by using Distress products.

I created the background by using Distress crackle texture paste through my Damask stencil.
I have immediately added Distress Glaze embossing powder to the wet texture paste and set aside to dry completely.

Once dry I have heat embossed the powder, this creates a glossy crusted effect that is crackled.
It looks like its ceramic on top of the paper.
Thanks Tim it's a wonderful effect!

I have distressed this background with Vintage photo Distress ink.

My flowers are from the Lovely Florals Blossoms stamp set and are coloured with copic markers.

They are layered on several layers from the Nesting Labels 1 die set.

Once assembled I have again added colour to age everything with Vintage Photo Distress ink
giving everything an old look.

StampingBella Bundle Girl With A Heart Trail

Hi there

I am back with another card for our anything goes monthly challenge at Bizzy Becs.

Today my card features the Girl With A Heart Trail stamp from
StampingBella.

My image is stamped onto blending card using Memento Tuxedo black ink.
I have then used copic markers too colour.

My Background is die cut with the cascading hearts and sponged with pastel inks.
I have used a yellow, a pink and a turquoise.

When assembling the card I have layered red card stock under my hearts that I cut out so they match
the stamped and copic coloured hearts.

I have also coloured some of the die cut hearts with copics and layered them onto the card.

Don't forget to stop into the shop to have a look the terrific ranges you can pre-order in, but remember some products have been removed temporarily due to shipping restrictions with Covid-19.

Paper Rose Rustic Succulents Card

Hi everyone!

Well can you believe that it's August already.

I am sharing a card today for Paper Rose Studio featuring the gorgeous Cactus Greetings Stamp Set.
I am thinking that the three projects that i share for August for Paper Rose Studio will be more vintage and grungy than my usual cards.

I have been using my time to catch up on some textured backgrounds that Tim Holtz shared on his Facebook lives. There are some great ideas that you can use to create some super grungy and textured backgrounds.

I have stamped out my succulent stamp in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured in with my Copic markers. I have used colours for my pot so that it looks like aged copper.

My succulents are coloured in violets for the under colouring and greyish greens

The detail in the picture above shows how the Distress Glaze looks when applied to an entire background and then grunge up with distress ink and a distress crayon, Thanks Tim for the great ideas using the distress crayons.

I have cut out the Texture 4 Die, brick wall, in craft card and embossed it with Vintage Photo
Distress Glaze. My sentiments are stamped onto card and sponged with Antique Linen Distress Ink.
I have also heat embossed in black the word Beautiful.

Colour chart shows my copic markers used for this project.
