Today I am sharing with you a card I have made for Bizzy Becs.

I have just received this gorgeous stamp and I had to colour it in, I have stamped in Mimento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured with Copic Markers.

The background is sponged with distress oxide inks in Victorian Velvet and Spiced Marmalade.

I have kept the design really simple to allow the little girl to pop out as the star.

Paper Rose Hummingbird Garden

Hi again.

I'm back with a project for Paper Rose Studios featuring the Hummingbird Garden stamp set.

 I wanted to create a bright and tropical look for this set of cards.

The hibiscus flowers are coloured with Copic Markers using rich and vibrant colours.

 I especially love how the reds on the flowers turned out.

For this card I have coloured and die cut all the stamped elements and layered them onto a background of blended distress oxide inks. 

The background colours are tumbled glass and broken china. 

I have heat embossed the sentiment using white embossing powder.

For this card I have stamped and masked the flowers to overlap them, I have then coloured the layered flowers with Copic markers. the sentiment " beautiful" and the hummingbird are die cut and layered onto the background.

For this card I have used a very old technique called mirror stamping.

To do this you stamp out the image onto a piece of acetate or a smooth surface, I have used an actual mirror stamping surface.

. You then take that stamped out image and you press that onto your paper like you would a normal stamp.

. This flips the image so now my hummingbird faces the other way.

Paper Rose Vintage Motorcycle

Today is my turn to share a set of cards for Paper Rose Studio.

 It is Sunday evening here in Perth and Im afraid the day just got away from me, so sorry it's late

Todays Cards feature the Vintage Motorcycle Stamp set.

I needed a masculine card for my dad for fathers day and I always find masculine cards to be so much harder to create.

I decided to paint the backgrounds to look like woven fabric using acrylic paint and a bristle brush.

The process is slow and you need to keep turning your card 90 degrees to cross hatch the lines.

The panels that are on top of the backgrounds are made using some of the new stencils and texture paste. One of the panels has beed sponged in distress oxide ink.

Picket Fence Studio's Lily Bouquet card

Hi There

Today I have a card to share with you 

for Bizzy Becs as part of our monthly anything goes challenge 

I have used the gorgeous Picket Fence Studios Lily Bouquet Stamp for this card. 

The image has been stamped in Mimento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured with Copic Markers.

The background has been water  coloured with Distress Oxide Inks and a water brush. Over the top of this I have layered the Quatrefoil die cut.
