Susie The Succulent Card

Hi there

I have a new project to share with you.

This one is for Bizzy Bec's and features the Stampingbella Tiny Townie

Susie the Succulent stamp.

I love this cute little image and decided to stamp on craft card and
colour with Prismacolor pencils.

Once coloured in I have die cut the image to frame it and double
mounted onto terracotta and black card.

I have die cut the word "awesome" twice and shaded with
pencils to accent the word allowing it to stand out a little.

Supplies used:

Stampingbella: Susie the Succulent stamp set

Avery Elle: Wonky Stitches

Creative Expressions: Essential Words

Prismacolor Pencils

Silhouette card with Penny Black Happy notes stamp set

Hi there

I thought I would share a quick card for Bizzy Becs today.

To create this card I used my blending brushes and distress oxide inks to create my back ground.

I started blending Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide at the top of my card, then blended that into Milled Lavender followed by Worn Lipstick and finally Dusty Concord creating a light sunset sky.

Once I had the right depth of colour and tones I allowed the ink to dry off completely so that I could stamp and emboss my image in the next step.

Using a stamping platform I have stamped my images in black ink and coated with clear embossing powder to help the black pop off the background

My sentiment is simply cut out of black card and glued onto the card.

Supplies Used:

Penny black - Happy Notes Stamp Set

Creative Expressions - Guess who thinks you're Special mini die

Distress Oxide inks:

Tumbled Glass

Milled Lavender

Worn Lipstick

Dusty Concord

Picket Fence blending Brushes

Don't forget to pop into the store and have a look at these great ranges that you can pre-order and if you can't find what you're looking foe send Bec an email.

Until next time

Paper Rose Lotus Bouquet Greetings

Hello there

Thanks for popping in to see my latest card for Paper Rose Studio.

Today's card features the lovely Lotus Bouquet stamp and a lot of colouring.

I have stamped out in a very light coloured ink so that my pencil lines are not visible, and coloured
in with Polychromos and Holbein pencils.
The Holbein Artist pencils range has a lot more pastel tones in their range and their soft pinks and yellows were perfect for this project.

I used a few shades of yellow for the centre of the petals
and blended out to a medium pink tone.

Lotus flowers can also have some lines in their petals
so I added these with a darker magenta pink

The background has been done using Daniel Smith Watercolours in Duo Chrome Turquoise, Sleeping Beauty Turquoise and Ultramarine Turquoise.

I have cut out white card using the' hello' from the Hugs, Thanks and Hello Chunky Word die set
and the sentiment is from the Big Black and White A5 paper pack.
