Happy Everything Birthday Wishes

Hi Again

I'm back with another card for Bizzy Becs today.

I have made a simple card featuring the Penny Black It's Your Day stamp set.

To create the background, I have used a blending brush and distress Oxide Inks in Cracked Pistachio and scattered straw.

I put down the yellow first in the middle of the card base to look like the glow from the lit candles .

I have stamped the image on blending card with Memento Tuxedo Black in and coloured with copic markers.

For a little sparkle I have added some sequin discs in translucent white.

Supplies Used:

Penny Black - It's Your Day Die Set
Elizabeth Crafts - Stitched Squares Dies ( by request)
Creative Expressions Sue Wilson - Happy Everything( By Request)

Until next Time

Lovely Magnolias for Paper Rose Studio

Hi There

Today's card is my third project this month for Paper Rose studio.

My card today features the beautiful Magnolia Clear Stamp set.

To create this card I have stamped out on watercolour paper using Ink 3 fade out ink
this gives me a very faint outline for watercoloring that will fade away later.
I have used my Misti stamping tool to position the sections of the stamp set to create a sprig of flowers.

I have used Altenew watercolour brush pens to do all my watercoloring using a water brush to
blend out the colours and working in layers.

18144 Sunshine 4 x 4 words stamp set
17463 Sunshine Layered Die

happy Valentines Day

Hello there

Happy Valentines day to you all.

Today is my turn to share something and as its Valentines day I would like to share a Valentines  card with you that I have made using Paper Rose Products.

The card is quite simple but the red heart is recessed into the textured background.
To do this I have used the scribble Herat Die sets outer layer to cut out a heart window in my layered base.

The textured base, with the heart window cut in it, is raised up from the base card with craft foam.

The inside layer of the scribble heart set has been cut out a couple of times and layered up.
I have coloured the heart in Copic Marker reds and golf foiled some of the pieces.

I have then cut out the love from the large layered love Die in black and white card.
The little dog is from the Animal Love stamp set and it too is coloured with Copic markers.

I have then cut it out using the corresponding die.

Supplies Used:

17832 Scribble Hearts 1
17382 Animal Love Clear Stamp Set
17383 Animal Love Die set
18463 Charlotte Decorative Background Die
18042 Love large Layered

Leafy Circle with alcohol ink background card

Hi there,

Today I would like to share a card with you that I have created for Paper Rose Studio.

I have used the Leafy Circle die from the Ella's Garden series.

To create the background I have used bright colours in the PaperMill Alcohol inks,
Turquoise and Emerald on Yupo paper.

The Leafy circle die has been cut out of plain white card twice.
One die cut is for the base of the card, and the second one that I cut out I glued under the first turning it around until I was happy with the placement of the leaves.

I have then trimmed away the excess.

I did was worked out where I needed to cut out the circle so that the leaves in my first layer will show through.
The sentiment background layer is cut out of the left over pieces I from the window created by the leaves.

Supplies Used:
17964 Ella's Garden Leafy circle Die
18279 Greetings Layered Word Die
16548 Stitched Circles Die
