Seasons Greetings Slimline Card with Crazy Cats

Hello Everyone

Today is my turn to share inspiration for Bizzy Becs and I have

made a holiday season card for you.

I have made a slimline card, they really are the rage at the moment. I used a Paper Rose Studio
slimline Card Creator Die for my shaker window background.

I have stamped the Crazy Cats from Stampers Anonymous on blending card and coloured with copic markers. Now I must say I got a new blending card fro Craft Jeanie and I love it.
Its a super smooth card and a really nice colour. Best of all the Copics love it and I find I get a really smooth blend without too much effort.
I will do some comparisons for you and share them on my blog.

I have used a slimline die to cut out the background in card as well as in craft foam to space out
my shaker windows.
I have added Shaker elements from Paper Rose Studio to fill these windows.

Little Houses On A Hill Christmas Card

Hi Everyone

I'm back  to share my new project for Paper Rose Studio.

Today I have made a simple Christmas card using the Little Houses On a Hill Border Die.

I wanted to make a Simple yet elegant card for Christmas and I adore cream and gold together
as a Christmas colour combination and used that as my inspiration.

The background is a Distress Oxide one on a mixed media paper. I have sprayed by

card base with Speckled Egg and Broken China Distress Oxide sprays and then spritzed

the card with water and set it aside to dry.

Once the card is fully dry I have splattered it with black and White acrylic Paint.

The rest of the card is really simple die cutting and layering using my stitched rectangle die set to

layer up my card colours with my final layer a thin edge of metallic gold.

My sentiment is also cut out of gold metallic card and the smaller sentiment has been stamped

and heat embossed with gold embossing powder.

Supples Used:

18363 Little Houses On A Hill Die

17823 Merry Christmas Text

16576 Stitched Rectangles A6 Die Set

18225 Christmas sentiments Stamp Set

I hope you have been getting in some crafty time, and if you

need a last minute Christmas card I hope this  has inspired you.

Until next time

Christmas Koko and Reindeer card for Bizzy Becs

Hello everyone

I have made a new card for Bizzy Becs using

the gorgeous Koko and Reindeer Digital stamp.

I have been watching a few videos on YouTube and really wanted to try colouring in
a snow scape with my Copic markers.

I have printed the Digital stamp onto Xpress-It blending card and coloured it in with my Copic pens.
I have then drawn in freehand the snow line in the background.

Colouring the night sky was next starting with my darkest blue and moving down through to the
lightest blue leaving a circle in the top edge to add my moon which I have drawn in freehand.

The trees are drawn freehand on top of the coloured night sky.

I have fussy cut out my coloured in elephant and reindeer and glued them down onto my
completed background.

Once everything is in place I have used a white gel pen to add the snow!
It does take awhile that's for sure

Lastly I have stamped my sentiment and cut it down to size.
Lastly I have trimmed down my card using a large stitched rectangle die.

Christmas Stained Glass effect card

Hi There

I am excited to share another project fo Paper Rose Studio,

WOW! embossing powder and Paper Rose Studio are collaborating together

this weekend for a blog hop!

My project was on the first day of the Hop and you will find it here:

https://mandyherring.blogspot.com/2020/11/paper-rose-studio-and-wow-embossing.html

In the spirit of the hop I have used WOW! embossing powders to create my latest card that

has a stained glass effect.

This was such a fun card to make!

I have embossed each panel of the die cut to colour it. I find it easier to lay down a black outline of the die first, I then recut the die in white and fill in all the little windows with the white cut outs. you simply piece them back n like a puzzle.

I use the Ranger Distress embossing pen to colour in each panel and emboss with embossing powders.

It takes a bit of time but so worth it!

Don't forget to follow along the blog hop this weekend!

Supplies used:

19477 Stained Glass Holy Family Die Set

19538 Nesting Arches Die Set

19514 Seasons Greetings Chunky Word Die

Paper Rose Studio and WOW! embossing powder blog hop

Hello and welcome to the WOW! Embossing Powder New Release giveaway Hop!

Thank you Karen Reátegui for sending everyone my way!

For those of you that don't know me I am on Paper Rose Studio's design team and

I am so excited to be asked to take part in this blog hop to show case to you the new release collection from WOW.

I appreciate that you chose to stop by!

Here is my project that I created using WOW! embossing powders and Paper Rose Studio Dies.

I have die cut Paper Roses' Daisies Die out of white card and pieced back into the outline all the petals. Once in place I have heat embossed the inside pieces with WOW embossing powders in 'Love Is The Drug' and 'Rose Glintz'.

The easiest way to do this is to use an embossing pen to colour in each petal an then sprinkle the powders on starting with Rose Glintz at the centre of the flower and then Love Is The Drug around the outer edges.
I have then heated the powders. To get the depth I needed as well as to create a smooth finish I have repeated this process again.

Once embossed I have then die cut another layer of the Daisies die and glued that on top to tidy up any overlap and add extra depth.

I have then done this process again for all three flowers.

The Hello Gorgeous fine script sentiment has also been die cut out of white card and heat embossed with
'Angel Eyes' embossing powder.

I have cut out my background using the Diagonal Stripe die in white and I have coloured the
cut out pieces with copic markers in shades of turquoise in tones from light to dark.

Supplies Used:

WOW!:

Rose Glintz
Love Is The Drug
Angel Eyes

Paper Rose:

18533 Daisies Die
18572 Diagonal Stripe Coverplate
19706 Hello Fine Script Die

Mouse on Present Christmas Card

Hi I'm back with card for Bizzy Becs and I have used one of the

Bizzy Becs Digital Stamps.

For this card I have printed the digital file onto Xpress-it blending card using my inkjet printer
so that I can colour with Copic Markers.

After Colouring I have fussy cut to the image and mounted it onto my background layers.

I watched a facebook live with Luisana Lowry from my life in my craft room where she coloured in a gift  ribbon to look like gold foil and I really wanted to try out her technique.

I love how the brown under colours really help to create the shine on the ribbon.

The Happy Christmas Die cut from Creative expressions has been hot foiled with a satin green foil.

I have then glued my sentiment down onto an embossed panel that I die cut out and ran through
an embossing folder.

Supplies Used:

Bizzy Becs Digital Image :  Mouse On Present
Creative Expressions:  Herringbone Background
Creative Expressions :  Happy Christmas Word Die

Copic Markers:

Bow:

The background is simply black card with the sound wave die cut repeated to cover the whole card base. I have foiled the sound wave with a hot foil system in a silver holographic foil.
