Inky cards using Ella's Garden Rose Bouquet Stamp Set

Hi There

I am back today with a set of cards for Paper Rose Studio using the Ella's garden stamp set.

I Just love these scribble style roses,
I wanted to create a set of colourful cards that are easy to create.

I have used Distress Oxide sprays to pre colour plain cardstock. Three pieces I kept aside for my backgrounds.

I have then stamped out the Rose Bouquet stamp on several different base colours to be cut out later.
You also need to stamp it on the three background pieces to be your map for layering the roses and leaves on top.

Get your scissors ready!
I cut out the leaves and flowers and I have layered them down onto of my back ground stamp.

This picture shows the subtle layering that give a bit of dimension to the cards.

The close up detail shows the layers of paint in black and white that I have splattered
on the background.

Kendyll Girl greeting card

Hi There

Today I am sharing with you a card I have made for Bizzy Bec's Design Team.

I have kept this one really simple but I love how bright it turned out.

I have used acrylic paint to create the stripes on the Background.
I have then drawn fine black lines between the colours to define them. I have then splattered black and white acrylic paint on top of the rainbow stripes.

I have stamped the Kendyll Girl stamp in black ink and used the matching die to cut it out.
I have then used the same die to cut out a piece of craft foam to mount it on.

I have added glossy accents to Her glasses for the shine on the lenses, but have left everything else black and white.

The Sentiment stamp, also from Picket Fence Studios, has been stamped in Archival ink onto of the acrylic paint.

Supplies Used:

Picket Fence Studios : Kendyll Girl Stamp
Picket Fence Studios : Kendyll Girl Die
Picket Fence Studios : Live Happy Stamp

Thank you for dropping by to have a look. Don't forget to stop in at Bizzy Becs the you can pre-order

Poinsettia Border Christmas cards for Paper Rose

Hi everyone

Thanks for stopping in to have a look at my newest set of cards for

I have found the last weeks have flown by and I can't believe we are half way through October already.

I thought I had better get started on my cards for Christmas and I know that we will be there before we know it.

I wanted an easier and fast card but still having something special.

So I decided to team up the gorgeous new Poinsettia Border Die with some bright papers from the Arty Love paper pack.

These cards are not difficult to make and the gorgeous fine details of the die cut stands
out beautifully layered onto the bright colours of the Arty Love papers.

The sentiments on all three cards are heat embossed in white on black card and they add some contrast to the cards.

I have scattered some Nuvo sequins onto the cards and hand glued them down, it took a few minutes but was really worth the effort.

There are clear sequins on the white strips on this card bit they are hard to capture on camera!
You can see them on the card as you move it around and the light catches them.

Supplies used:

18348 Poinsettia Border Die
18225 Christmas Sentiments 4 x 6 stamp set
16576 Stitched Rectangles A6 Die Set
18378 Poinsettia Corner 4 x 6 Stamp Set( for sentiment)

Thanks again for stopping by

Until Next Time

paper Rose Studio lot's of Circles cards

Hi There

I hope you are having a super day.
Today It's my turn for Paper Rose Studio to share some creative ideas.

I wanted some simple cards that could be used for almost any theme so
I kept them very simple and monochromatic.

These cards all feature the Lots of Circles die set and various leaf die cuts
in white and some in foils.

The backgrounds are made using Distress oxide inks and they are sponged and blended
together to create an hombre look in greys.

Some of the die cut shapes have been put through my Go-Press hot foil machine
to create some contrast.

This card has gold foiled elements to add interest and contrast.

I love this one possibly the most, I have foiled some elements in silver and some in rose gold.

Supplies Used:

17265 Lots of Circles
16548 Stitched Circles
16951 layered hello
18078 Baby Blue Medium Eucalyptus Branch
18099 Baby Blue Outline Medium Eucalyptus Branch
18102 Eucalyptus Branch
16939 Dandelions
18081 Stitched Eucalyptus Branch
16898 Thinking of You Small
