Hi There

Thanks for looking in on my card today. I am sharing with you a really simple design,
but I think you will agree the end result is rather effective.

I have layered the butterfly die cut card over the top of a simple sponged background. The distress inks are simply sponged onto the card base.

The three metal embellishments  are painted white and while still we I have wiped back the paint
this gives a softer look. I have then glued a small crystal into the centre to cover the hole in the trim.

Poppy stamps, Vintage Happy Birthday

Metal embellishments from Bizzy Becs card kit #6

happy Easter

 Hi There,

I hope you had a wonderful Easter with friends and loved ones.
I am sharing with you a card that is a twist on the traditional easter theme.

I do love the Stamping Balla stamps and this cutie with the ice cream cone was
too cute to resist.

To create this card I have used Rangers new Distress Crayons in colours: Picked Raspberry, Spiced
Marmalade and Mustard Seed.

I have coloured them on Yupo paper in diagonal lines and then placed a stencil over the top.
I have then wiped off the excess crayon through the Memory Box Tessatina stencil with a
baby wipe.
This removes the colour from the "gaps".

To be safe I have sealed theYupo with a fixative spray to prevent too much smudging later on.
The Stamping Bella image has been coloured with Copic Markers and die cut with a decorative edge.

The rest of the card is just simple layering and assembly.

Supplies used:
Stamps: Stampin Bella Chicks with a sprinkle on top.
Lawn Fawn Eggstra Special Easter
Dies:Lawn Cuts Stitched rectangles
Poppy Stamps Pinpoint Main Street Tags
Stencil: Memory Box Tessatina

Drop into Bizzy Becs Online store where you can buy all these supplies and so much more.
But Don't forget you need to Pre-order.

Thanks for stopping by. See you next time.

Hi everyone.
I hope you are having a relaxing Sunday with friends and loved ones.

Today I'm sharing with you a card I made for a dear friends birthday. I will say I am in love with the stamping Balla Upton Girls range.

The girls were quite challenging to colour using Copic Markers, their legs are so skinny!
My background is embossed stamped circle dots and watercolour paint.

My card was made using the following supplies:

Stamps: Stamping Bella Samantha and Sierra take a selfie
Indigo Blue Circle dot Background

Dies: Lawn Fawn Large stitched rectangle frames
Spellbinders Oval stack

Art journal page

Hi there

I love drawing faces and am sharing one of my latest in my  art journal.
I have used many layers to create this piece, the face is layers of watercolour and coloured pencil as well as a bit of ink and permanent pen.

To achieve the texture down the side of the pages I have stamped into texture paste, after drying I have painted the background with a transparent wash of acrylic paint.

I have then made a raw umber paint glaze to bring out the detail in the texture then I have dry brushed gesso over the top of all the layers which has added a really effective hi-lite.

The stamped quote just seemed to fit in with the layout and is a darkroom door stamp.

I hope you like the end result.
