Ella's Garden in Soft Watercolours

Today I have a new set of cards to show you.

They feature gorgeous and versatile stamps from Paper Rose Studios from the newly released Ella's Garden series.

I have stamped the flowers in Ranger Archival ink and messy watercolored them in shades of pinks and purples.

The backgrounds are painted in acrylic paints in soft pastel colours. They are then splashed with little drops of black ink. This helps me tp tie in the dark lines of the stamping.

I love how this background turned out with the contrasting colour  from mint to peach.

To create interest I have layered behind the flowers on each card one of the lovely Texture Die cuts from Paper Rose. I love how fine the detail is in each of these dies.

I have fussy cut out the flowers so that there was no white edge and layered them on top of my background textures.

Mermaid greetings - I miss seeing you

Hi again.

I can't believe that another month is almost over.

Today is  my turn again to share another project with you.

Today I have made a card using a cute mermaid stamp from Picket Fence Studios.

To create this card I have painted plain card with acrylic paint and the die cut them out using The 

Avery Elle Wonky stitches Die.

The Stamped image is coloured with Copic markers and also cut out using the co-ordinating Die.

super hero Fun Greetings

Hi there

well we sure are moving through this month so fast, and today is my turn again to share some card inspiration for Paper Rose.

I have made a set to cards for you using the new Super Hero stamp set.

I adore this set and it's a good one to use for cards for men, and we know how hard it is to find great stamps that are suitable.

To create these cards I used Ranger Distress  paint daubers to create a "galaxy" or night sky background. 

There are quite a few videos on YouTube detailing how to do this. 

Essentially you dab the paints onto a craft sheet, spritz with water and tap your cardstock into the paint mix picking up patches of colour.

depth and patches of colour  that resemble a night sky or galaxy.

The buildings in each of the cards are the new Tall Buildings Border Die. In the card above I have cut out 3 sets of this Die in varying colours and layered them up using double-sided foam tape.

All the Superhero animals are coloured in Copic markers.

Ella's Garden roses in Grey and Violet Shades

Hi There 

Today I would like to share a set of cards for Paper Rose using stamps and dies from

Ella's Garden collection

To create these cards I have heat embossed the Beautiful Mandala stamp in 

white embossing powder.

The roses are stamped and coloured with Copic markers.

Stampingbella Flowery Gnomes

Hi Again,

Todays inspiration is for Bizzy Becs and our monthly anything goes challenge on the blog.

I have used a gorgeous stamp from Stampingbella's gnome series.

this one is called Flowery Gnomes.

I have stamped onto X-Press it blending card using Memento ink in Tuxedo black and

coloured with Copic markers.

The Frantic Stamper sentiment die I have cut out in white as well as black card and layered them to create a shadow effect.

Using Avery Elle's Wonky stitches Die I have layered my coloured image onto grey card.
